  • Victor Osimhen: "I used to send money to one of my childhood friends but one day he told me about a business he wants to start and needed financial support. I sent him €5k, but he didn't appreciate it. He even told me that he heard on the news that I earned 1 million euros every week and that he was expecting about €50k to start up this business. I was so mad that I wanted to reverse the transaction but couldn't. That money €5k can only buy a pair of shoes in Europe, but in Nigeria, it's a lot of money. Nobody had sent me 1 dollar before I came to Europe. I hustled day and night, and I sold bottles of water on the street. People should learn to appreciate whatever they get as gifts, not have this sense of entitlement."

  • In the heart of Brazil, there is a place where civilization suddenly stops and nature creates its endless kingdom. We are talking about the almost surreal border between the city of Manaus and the enormous Amazon rainforest, a contrast that leaves you speechless. On one side, a modern city, full of noise, buildings and urban life. On the other, a dense green sea that swallows the horizon and breathes the silence of forgotten times.

Seen from above, the border between the two worlds seems drawn with a ruler: asphalt and concrete that, from one point on, disappear completely before the thick foliage that stretches for thousands of kilometers. Manaus, considered the gateway to the Amazon, is the last stop before the desert. The city pulsates day and night, but just a few steps away begins the absolute kingdom of nature, where time slows down and the air becomes heavy with so much humidity and life.

It is difficult to find such a strong contrast anywhere else. In Manaus, skyscrapers strive for the sky, and just a few minutes away, giant Amazonian trees do the same, but silently, for thousands of years.

  • Meet Aicha Evans from Senegal, the CEO of Zoox, a cutting-edge company transforming urban mobility. Zoox has developed a self-driving, bidirectional vehicle that’s designed specifically for city life. Its unique, symmetrical design means it doesn’t have traditional features like a steering wheel, pedals, or a driver’s seat. It can drive in either direction without turning around, seating up to four passengers with space for working, sleeping, or socializing while on the move.

Using the Zoox app on your mobile device, you can unlock the doors, set your destination, and relax as the car drives you there. There’s no key—everything is managed through the app. The car has no front or back, making it adaptable to driving in either direction.

The innovative design has even caught the attention of international regulators, with many impressed by its advanced features, leading to ongoing investigations to better understand this groundbreaking technology.
